Course Developers

The National Emergency Medicine Board Review has been developed jointly by the Center for Emergency Medical Education and Emergency Medical Abstracts, and reviewed by the Education Committee of the California Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Together these organizations have created a “board preparation” course that is unique, a course that has one goal -- to provide participants with a cost-effective, high-yield educational experience that will result in the successful passage of the emergency medicine certification or recertification examinations.

The Center for Emergency Medical Education
The Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) is the educational arm of Emergency Physicians Medical Group (EPMG) and Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP). CEME has sponsored over 110 courses with total registrations exceeding 14,000 physicians. CEME currently provides over 53,000 CME credits annually. Areas of specific expertise include pediatric emergency medicine and risk management.

Emergency Medical Abstracts
Emergency Medical Abstracts has been providing its 5,000+ subscribers key information relevant to emergency medicine since 1977. In addition, it has been producing "evidence-based" courses in emergency medicine since 1981. To date, more than 29,000 physicians have attended its 330 courses. Currently, physicians participating in Emergency Medical Abstracts activities earn over 80,000 CME credits annually.
